downgrade from windows 10 pro to home version without losing files?

as the title says, i just did a fresh install of windows 10 again(ive activated and had it on windows 10 home before), selected pro by accident and i cant activate windows, is there a way i can downgrade without losing files so i can have a activated copy of windows?

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that there are some back end features of pro that are built into how it installs. Back up your data and re-install.
