Should I get a Gigabyte z170 Gaming 7 if I plan on using on board audio?

I've read a few reviews on the Gaming 7 that said they have had audio issues. It's my first build and I don't plan on getting an audio card. Just looking for any info especially people who own that board. Are the issues due more to the user side of things? Maybe only certain programs or even hardware causing the issue? Any input is appreciated thanks.

Could be a lot of things, their last driver update was in Jan, might have issues with certain OSs. I haven't worked with but one and that was simply a DRAM upgrade, didn't hear any complaints on sound and the owner is a gamer so imagine she uses sound
