Hi guys, hopefully somebody can help me out. My specs are:
Asus z87 sabertooth
intel i7 4790k
gtx 970 4gb GPU
16 gb ram
After a windows update when i logged on in any game i would have 1 fps. I checked my video adapter in device manager and my video adapter is missing at all. My monitor is connected to my GPU. i reinstalled all the drivers for the GPU and rebooted my pc and for some reason i would assume if you re install the drivers the resolution would change to factory to 800x600 and it would change the graphic card to integrated but it didn't. I also downloaded AIDA 64 to see if my computer even recongizes my GPU and it does. It shows that the GPU is plugged in.

Solution
did you set the GPU as the primary display adapter int he bios? You may have to set PEG or PCIE as the adapter to initialize first.
