Are these temps normal?

Running 4.8ghz stable at 1.370v on a i7 6700k cooled by a Corsair h100i v2 with a Asus Z170-A.

Ambient temperaturs is 23c. Idle temp is 27-30c. Im using the pre applied thermal paste.

When running AIDA64 the temps spike up to 85c for half a second or so then they drop back down to 60-70c or even 55c sometimes this keeps going on until i stop te stresstest.

Running cinebench the max temp is 70c or bellow.

Should i worry about the temps being that high in AIDA64?

I've researched alot about safe voltages for the i7 6700k alot of people suggested to stay under 1.4volts. So i guess my voltage is alright. Thanks for your input about the temperatures for me it just seems weird that it pops to 80c for not even half a second and then drops back to 60-70c. I am running a stresstest atm after i disabled svid in the bios. Seems like it dropped the temp 1c. So is max temp 78-81c while stress testing a good number?

The CPU only hits 75-80c when stress testing while gaming/rendering the max temp is arround 72c.

Quite a high overclock, but given that high voltage - those temperatures are not unexpected. good job at reaching such a stable overclock. Should you worry about those temps at a benchmark that stresses your CPU to 100% load? No, but it just gives you certainty that your cooling is adequate for such an overclock. Now is 85C an acceptable temperature? Not really. Try to keep it below 80C out of good habit and being conservative. Since that's a stress test, you will rarely utilize 100% load under normal conditions. Hope that answers your question. Avoid 100% load to prevent that temperature spike in other words.

Temperatures only spike that high when stresstesting. When rendering it stays below 73c (100% load).
