Hey everyone so this is my current mobo GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 and I don't know what I am doing wrong here but I just got some Bose companion 2 speakers and tried connecting them to all 5 of the ports in the back but I am not getting sound from them.... I connected the speakers to my monitor headphone out jack and they are working but every time my monitor comes back from sleeping they pop which is really annoying.
Not sure why my audio plugs in the back werent working right I have some software where it tells me if something plugs in but I can't do much to get the sound out of them. Any tips or troubleshooting advice would be appreciated
