I have GSkill DDR4 3000mhz ram and when I enable an XMP profile for them on my asus motherboard it increases the vcore from v1.2 to v1.35 and average voltage during usage sits at 1.370 (max 1.440), while without the XMP profile active its merely around 1200 volts average.

The difference in temps is also quite noticeable with the voltage without the XMP profile active.

Is there an alternative to the XMP profile or do the ram simply require that voltage to function at 3000mhz? (i never overclocked ram, but i suppose it would be required or are there better profiles somewhere to be found?)
