Best Wireless-N PCIe Wifi Adapter?

Hey everyone, I recently built a new PC and my mobo only has PSIe x1 slots available so my old PCI adapter won't work (it was old WirelessG anyway). So I could get SOME internet, I purchased a USB Wireless Adapter:

WNA3100 - N300 Wireless USB Adapter
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/WNA3100?cid=wmt_netgear_organic#Software%20Version%202.0

I hate it. It has connection issues and if I ever use ANY of my USB slots for a flash drive or anything, it will have a severe drop in Mbps. I also had to install old firmware to get it to be usable on Windows 10.

I want a PCIe wireless adapter to replace this, but I've done some research and it seems like even many PSIe ones have connection issues (I never had issues with my old PCI one). My router is only Wireless N so I don't really need AC (and I don't know if I want to spend that much anyway). I was looking at this one:

ASUS(PCE-N15) maximum performance Wireless-N Network Adapter ( 300Mbps Transmit / 300Mbps Receive) with PCI-E interface
https://www.amazon.com/PCE-N15-performance-Wireless-N-Transmit-interface/dp/B0053GR2YI/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

But the negative reviews make me worry it will be like my USB one. I would really appreciate suggestions on what Wireless-N PCIe adapter to get.

I would go with a TP-LINK TL-WN881ND as I have used it in a number of builds, including a number of W10 builds, and it has always worked well. You need to take user reviews with a grain of salt since most purchasers are idiots that can't make toast.

My only caveat is that if you want this for gaming, think again. A high quality pair of AV1200 powerline adapters like the Tp-Link (TL-PA8010) set has far lower latency and will provide a much better very consistent connection than any wireless including the best AC.

I believe my last PSI adapter was TP-LINK and it never gave me issues with connection dropping and speed loss, so I like the idea of getting that. I WILL be online gaming, but I've never really had issues with my wireless setup before. I do like the idea of getting those powerline adapters, especially for my Wii U (and future NX :) ) since I have concrete walls. My PC is pretty close to the router though. Thanks for the advice.
