Summary of the situation
I had a FX6300 with an according mobo and a R9 380, thermaltake 500w, everything working perfectly.
I decided to upgrade to a i5 6600/8gb DDR4 with a GA-H170-Gaming 3(gigabyte)
Started to play wither 3 and modded skyrim, amazing performance increase, loving it.
Now 1 day later it started to have slowdowns, i capped the games at 60, but it started to stay at 50, then 40, and after a while its completely unplayable.
checked the gpu and it was slightly not perfeclty connected so i connected it propely, the fps issue persisted.
What concerns me the most is that its the exact same issue I had with an old mobo, where the vrm were weak and caused the same effect. I bought this motherboard specially to avoid this problem and now is repeating!!!!
Can I be wrong? I really hope so, because I spend A LOT of money and the frustration im feeling right now is beyond limits, please someone help me, please!
I thought it could be the PSU, but this cpu supposedly is less power hungry than the FX!!!
Im really sad and a little depressed
Edit, i made a clean install of the gpu drivers but its still the same
_cpu and gpu temps are fine, cpu belo 40c and gpu around 70c which is perfect

Sorry my bad, didnt see it (1am here :p)

I have R7 360 and was playing Overwatch and this GPU should be more than enough but had FPS drops even the temp was 75c and below. First thing I thought of is the driver, so I updated to the latest one, but didnt help much. Then I decided to add another PC fan but didnt help much even with more Air in. At the end I opened one side of the case and left it open. Now am not getting more than 60FPS but at least it is stable.

Maybe you can try that and see!
