The Z170 platform is a succesor to the Z97 platform and ushered in DDR4 ram support to the mainstream market. You should in essence be able to populate any DDR4 stick/kit of ram on teh Z170 motehrbaord provided you are below or at the maximum supported ram capacity and frequency.
In short, if this is the kit it will work but you'll need to have a processor of at least an i5-6600K.
