I have a Windows 7 Toshiba and it's crashed and won't boot, I have tried everything and nothing works it all leads back to launch startup repair and after it loads the files it blips a blue screen for a millisecond and then goes to the black glowing screen with a fully functioning mouse cursor, and every ten seconds or so it makes a clicking sound as though I were using it clicking on stuff, can anyone help I have no idea what to do

Thanks to everyone for your advice and help, I managed to get the pc to actually work, I went through a strenuous process of factory restoring and tweaking the settings, I started crashing every time I clicked the mouse and that's when I would start all over again, I continued until I found out how to digitally unsign the drive and made another profile excluding the one when it first starts up and transferred my files from the original profile to the new one and it actually works much better, it lags sometimes but when it lags it pulls through it instead of just crashing, then windows Explorer crashes sometimes and if I let it sit then the Explorer restarts itself, fingers crossed I'm done with factory resetting it and that it just...

I can't get into the computer at all, I've tried to reroute the boot sequence and nothings worked, I figured out f10 for edit boot options and it keeps showing [ noexecute/optin. . . Could that help me at all

Clocking sound often means a bad hard drive. Is that clicking sound coming from the drive? If it is, replace the hard drive.

It doesn't actually click, just when it's on and it's loaded up the black screen it sounds like when the mouse cursor volume is up and when you click on a file that little ping noise it makes, I've checked all the components and everything is okay except the keyboard, I'm thinking I might just need to get a Windows 7 recovery disk and rewindow the laptop completely

What exactly happened when it crashed? What did the system do? Bluescreen crash? Just powered down? Try re-seating the keyboard and touchpad connections to the motherboard, make sure the keys and buttons are clean from underneath also, nothing sticking to the keys.

When it first crashed it powered down and powered back up scrolling through all the systems files, it blue screened for a few seconds and then completely shut down and now everything I've mentioned is what's going on and I've reseated the keyboard and all the connectors for it
