Will OEM Key Work with Install Disk?

Hello!
I have a Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 install disk, which I have used on my desktop.
I know I can't use the same key to install it on a different computer, but the computer I'm looking to reinstall (a clean install, specifically) Windows on has the same version, it came preinstalled with it.
Windows is of course activated with the OEM key, but I'd just like to be sure that I'm able to use that same OEM key to reinstall using the disk, I need this computer for work, and would rather not screw something up.

Thank you in advance!

If you're installing the same version, on the same hardware...yes. It should activate no problem.
'Should' = if it doesn't, call the MS phone robot.

Thank you very much, I just wanted to be sure that the OEM listed in the computer properties would work, it is for the same version of Windows as the disk.

I'm not absolutely sure but as far as I know, you should be able to do a clean install with it as long as you have a different key. Here's a link to where you're supposed to be able to download an ISO from MS if you have a valid key to give it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 . It seems to be quirky, so just be aware. Yesterday it would only download the Korean ISO, and today when I go there, I get a blank window with both IE11 and Firefox.

Good luck.

I've actually found that it does still need to be registered. The key shows up in the computer's properties, same as it was before I did the clean reinstall, it just needs to be activated.
The key has a whole load of zeroes, yet it doesn't allow you to type zeros, nor O's when putting in the key for activation... I'll contact support when I can, for the time being, it's not a big deal.
