This is the second time I've ever built my own PC, but I'd like for someone to check just to see that the parts are compatible and I didn't forget something. I also have 2 old VGA monitors at home, and was thinking of using a VGA -> DisplayPort converter cable. Should all this work?

Everything in that build would be a waste of money. High prices for junk.

If there's something you don't necessarily need, it'll just bring the price down, but a VGA monitor is useless on that gpu.

Unless you have extra storage ability, running raid 0 on the only 2 SSDs in the system isn't exactly well thought out planning. As fast as SSDs are, you won't see any real benefit to such a small raid setup
