:fou::fou::fou::fou::fou::fou:
X99-A says 64max
X99 deluxe says 64max
(asus tech support says: in X99deluxe you can put 128 only if CPU supports more than 64)
they told me if I install 6950x into X99 Deluxe , I can install 128 into it
whereas:
X99Deluxe II - says 128max by default
one question ! why those basterds shuffling our brain ?

I dont understand
which is more important CPU with more than 64 support or Motherboard with more than 64 support ?
which beats which ?

Solution
The X99 chipset can handle the 128GB, the original CPUs for X99 couldn't handle more than 64GB so they weren't advertised as for 128GB, and even now you need to check that they have the BIOS updated for the new CPUs to have XMP support built in for 128GB. Don't expect to run 128GB with a Haswell-E CPU, might be able to but the specs don't call for and support it
