I was wondering what was the best GPU that would work with a core 2 duo e6600 and has minimal bottlenecks, It has to be half hight and single slot.

I know the 750 ti is the best but it would bottleneck bad.

Solution
yeah a low profile Gt 730 should be pretty good just make sure to get the GDDR5 version most only have 1GB of memory but there are some 2 GB out there just make sure its not the DDR3 version.

Bottleneck is a relative term, it depends on game, resolution and image quality settings. And with DSR, you can give GPU all the load you want and have no bottleneck. The problem is that your CPU will not be able to run latest demanding games at acceptable frame rates, no matter low quality- or high. So if you want a setup like this (e6600 with GTX750Ti), you should make sure the games you want to play have very low CPU requirement. Even better- if you can see them running on youbube on e6600 at acceptable frame rates.

I plan to make it and sell it as like a minecraft PC or something.

Do you know what a good GPU would be for this system because with an e6600 there is not many games that can be run with a CPU like this and if it can, it obviously can't use much GPU power.

Yes I would suggest just getting a low profile 750 ti as stated above you will run into issues with some games that require a stronger CPU but not really much better option worth getting. Also I would say it will bottleneck it bad either you could get maybe a GT 730 2 GDDR5 but I would only recommend that is you have a really weak PSU and need a low profile card.

Oh if your going to sell then just get the GT 730 (64bit version with GDDr5) it's cheap and should be able to play MC with out much issue and you can say it's basic gaming capabilities. It should be able to play most games circa 2009 at 720p -1080p.
