I have 2 AMD Radeon R9-270X overclocked GPUs with AMD FX-4300 overclocked CPU. Will Corsair VS650 PSU is enough for this system?

Solution

On my calculation a VS 650 should suffice. but the problem is that the VS/CX series from corsair are not that good, at Single GPU its ookay (Kind of ) but at dual GPU it will not provide a stable or reliable current meaning it could´t at a long term mess your system up, or even at the beginning give a unstable system.

If you still didn't bought a PSU I recommend the EVGA Super Nova G2

or XFX TS 650W

and if you wan´t you can even go to 750W it´s more future proof and it doesn't cost much extra

I quickly calculated the amount of Voltage the VS could provide giving is a Bronze Power supply it deliver only 80% efficiency meaning instead of the needed +3.3V +5V +12V you would be getting...

Solution
The system will take approximately 550 W at maximum. In theory the VS650 at 650 W rating should be able to handle this load.

But note that the VS650 uses some low grade components, so this PSU may not last for long, especially if loaded up near its maximum rating.

If already have this PSU, you can try it and see how things go. But if this PSU has not yet been purchased, then don't buy it, there are better quality and more reliable PSU's available.

I have not bought it yet. But as it is rated 650W and at a low end price,I was considering buying it.

Thank you for your suggestions. But your suggested XFX and EVGA cards are not available at Amazon at my country and location . Corsair CP-9020015-NA CX Series CX750 750 Watts Power Supply is next in my choice cart. Is this series of Corsair PSU good enough?

No VS/CX are Oookay but not good PSU units, you can have much better for not too much extra. which country are you at ?? to have a notion I personally mounted more than 3 CX power supplies and 2 failed after a month of usage, they are not reliable and effective

Mostly from 'Amazon'. And also from 'Flipkart' if it is cheaper
