Hello! I am having a very annoying issue and everywhere I look has the same "solution."
Main specs:
AMD 8350 CPU
MSI 970 Gaming MOBO
GTX 960 GPU
Windows 10
The directional sound is technically correct when I go to my Speaker Configuration and do a Test, the directional sound is fine.
BUT, when I go into a game it is completely reversed, whether it's CS:GO, DayZ, Rust, Miscreated and others.
I have tried many ways I have seen online such as;
Reinstalling sound drivers - Realtek HD Audio
Trying the rear audio jacks on the back of my PC case.
Restarting PC (of course)
I just got a new headset, HyperX Cloud 2 which use their 7.1 Audio drivers. (Still same problem)
Changing audio settings ingame (Stereo, Headphones, 5.1, 7.1) ect
I have tried turning off surround sound.
For my current headphones I have the HyperX Cloud II, which connects through an amp kinda thing, which then connects to a USB in my PC.
Cutting the cable or wearing the headset the other way round isn't an option.
Note: This is NOT an issue with my current headphones, as I have had the issue with;
Standard Apple earphones
TurtleBeach P11
Logitech G430.
HyperX Cloud II
