Hi,

I have a Silverstone PS08B chassis. I recently won a Seidon 120mm liquid cooler from my company and would like to install this cooler. Unfortunately, the rear fan only supports 80mm or 92mm. I found an adapter on eBay and Amazon regarding the said adapter and would like to know if it's possible to install the cooler via the adapter?

I would like to know your thoughts if it's worth it or not. Also, if you guys can recommend an 80mm radiator? haha

Hey there, One of those adapters would probably work and you would manage to fit the Seidon on your case, but there is the risk the Seidon is so large that the side Panel door won´t close adding the risk of dust and Noise. and it should be a bit noisier because the fans need to rotate faster to compensate the added Static pressure. The Seidon out of the box and at full Load its really Loud around 55dB. and adding pressure (With the adaptor) will add even more noise, could be you reach 60dB  to compensate for that you could as well replace the stock fans with the best Noctua ones: http://noctua.at/en/which_fan_is_right_for_me The: NF-P12 being the most balanced and quiet, or NF-F12 being the best performing but louder. the NF-S12A its not suitable for fans giving it doesn't have enough static pressure. if you tight on Money. Cougar Vortex rpm are a really good choice.

Or if you still want more performance you could mount 2 120mm fans at Push pull config. with two NF-P12 it could give a good boost

It´s silly but buying a new case could be as well good solution, there are really good cheap cases.
