I am overclocking my gtx 1070 and I am wondering if I need to turn up the voltage. I am happy with the overclock without changing to voltage.

Never overclocked before so I am a noob.

Thanks!!

If your happy with your overclocking effort, and results of your Gtx 1070 card.
And it is stable while playing games with no on screen graphical artefacts, and your happy with the maximum temp the Gpu reaches while gaming.

Then I advise you stop at that point.

It is true that in order to get a bit more of an overclock or a higher speed of the gpu and memory on the graphics card that a slight voltage increase may be needed if the card is not 100% stable when running with a game title.

But in doing so the heat from the GPU, memory and the voltage regulator modules on the card can start to rise.
so a lot of care has to be taken when changing voltages of the card in question MrAlecfrey.
