Hi please tell me which OS is good for time being for Core 2 duo E7300 2.66ghz is it Windows 7 or Windows 8.1? yes i am going to upgrade my cpu to skylake cpus but it still have time for upgrade.
For now i am just confused which is OS is good for my specification.

My old / current pc specs are below

MOBO - Gigabyte g41m combo
CPU - Core 2 Duo e7300 2.66ghz
Ram - 4GB
GPU - MSI GTX 9602g gaming edition
PSU - Antec 550vp
Cabinet - Corsair spec -02

Whatever route you go get a retail copy not OEM or you'll be rebuying the Os when you change motherboards. The version won't matter a lot performance wise on your system, just pick whichever one you're more comfortable with
