Right now, I have the
AMD A8-7650K
GTX 950
HYPERX 16GB RAM
GIGABYTE F2A68HM-FM2 MOTHERBOARD
Corsair CX600 Watt Power Supply

Since the FM2+ is not reintroducing any more newer CPU's from AMD, the upgrades are limited because if I upgrade my GPU further, it's going to bottleneck the A8

So, I want to upgrade to a FX 6300 With the MSI 970 Motherboard.

Now I'm wondering if I change will Windows be deactivated? Like I will have to rebuy a new Windows 10 Copy from AMD TO AMD?

Can you give me all the procedures to installing the new FX 6300 And the MSI 970 mobo and Windows 10?

If I do have to rebuy a Windows 10 copy, can you give me a site that has the cheapest?

Thanks, (I know all of this is basic but I just want to be 100 percent sure)

P.S I have an OEM Windows 10 Copy

I'd get an i3 skylake and h110 board over the 6300... But that's up to you, you should have to rebuy windows however you can tell them your old board died and this is a repair, sometimes they will give you the license

More a software question than hardware.

Short answer: you'll need a new copy of Windows.

Explanation: OEM Windows are tied to the motherboard model it was initially installed to, but cheaper to buy. As I understand it, retail versions of Windows do allow you to change motherboard (though I could be wrong). While you could upgrade a CPU without issue, you can't upgrade the motherboard; an OEM Windows won't boot.

Comment: In knowing the future of the FM2+ motherboard is limited, why are you considering a change to the equally redundant AM3+ motherboard? Would it not be wiser to either switch to an Intel CPU (perhaps an i3 so you can still upgrade later) or even wait to see what Zen is like?
