Good Afternoon!
I l have always been a console gamer then recently brought a gaming pc, with a gtx 980, i have enjoyed pc gaming but i have also seen that not many people play on the pc, games such as black ops 3 have a significantly higher amount of players on console than ps4 - ps4 has 250k players, and pc only has 15k players. I have sold my gtx 980 and now planning to either get a GTX 1080, or save a little bit of money and get the 1070 and top it off with a ps4.5 console, i am very confused, im in the verge of ordering which ever card now, but i have also done a lot of research, the gtx 1070 is only marginally different than the gtx 1080, considering overclocking the gtx 1070, i would run like a gtx 1080 that is on stock anyway, not mentioning that i only have a 1080p display yet, i will buy 4k or 1440p in December. So what is the conclusion, should i get the gtx 1070 and get a ps4.5 console on top of that, or go all out with a gtx 1080, the thing is i dont know if id be using my console if i do end up making a purchase, i dont know how i will stick to one platform, and also choosing whether to get games on the ps4 or the pc, considering pc games prices are significantly lower than console prices.
So what is the final thoughts, all out for gtx 1080 or get a 1070 + top it off with a ps4 console?
All i see is major gaming channels on youtube use console gaming, as its more popular, but i dont always like to play on 30 fps, esp on gta v, but i can play that on pc.
And also what about the display, is it worth going for a 1440p monitor or a 4k monior, if i do end up getting the ps4, will i get used to that resolution, and then i will not be able to go back to 1080p? Im really confused, any help is appreciated.
Please any opinions would mean the world to me, i cant make a decision.
