My brother and I are both very into PC Gaming, the rest of our family wasn't so we got our own Internet to avoid having everyone else slowing it down. It worked great for the most part. I only notice the lag when Gaming. In CS:GO every 2 games one of us will have 200 ping and the other 50 In the same game. We are both using wired connections to our router. I have tried all the usual tricks. switching the Ethernet cables, resetting the internet, turning it off and on again. I have contacted our service provider was told to upgrade the router, it didn't help. Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated!

Hey I don't play CS:GO, but my cousin and I play a bunch of online PC games (WoW & LoL) on the same network.
After long gaming sessions we get some lagging problems, and what I found to work was this router NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900. It's got 600+1300 Mbps speeds, 1 GHz dual core processor, Beamforming, & high speed bandwidth for playing games.
