Hi, I currently have an Asus F22A55-M LK2 (not plus) and this motherboard came with an apu already put in (an amd a8-5500). I'm not sure but I want to get rid of it and put in an i5-6600k and upgrade my gpu from a gtx 650 ti to a sapphire R9 390. So I'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade to this
P.s I'm getting a corsair cx600 psu

Solution
No. The motherboard accepts AMD APUs only. No Intel CPUs.
Here is your CPU support list: https://www.asus.com/br/Motherboards/F2A55M_LK2/HelpDesk_CPU/

Is this a good cheap alternative I'm not really looking to spend a lot on a motherboard

No. That won't work for the i5-6600K either. While the board is indeed for Intel processors, it is the previous generation socket; LGA 1150. You need a motherboard with an LGA 1151 socket. Most of those now take DDR4 memory. So if your old memory is DDR3, you'll need to upgrade that as well.
