just upgraded my mother board and cpu without a clean install I load into windows fine but every 4 or so sometimes less hours i will restart I know that it is not anything overheating and i know its not the ram either I don't know how to check if its my power supply but i've seem to have done all of the random fixes that people have posted online none of those seem to work any help would be great thanks

It does not seem to restart when its under a load of work tho as it has restarted when i was just normal browsing

Update: Stess tested the gpu and cpu and no restart i ran prime 95 for 30 min and furmark for 30 mins did not have any concerning numbers during that time peak gpu temp was 80 c and cpu 74 c

Also adding information my pc was very stable prior to this update im certain that it has to be a driver or something now any ideas what it could
be though??

UPDATE: here is a link to what i see in event logs http://imgur.com/5H65Fq2

Solution
Z170 is a 1151 socket and 4670 is a 1150 ?? sounds like you mashed in the wrong CPU for the board ? if so you may have ruined the motherboard cpu socket cause I cant see how you could avoid bent pins doing that or at least not severe to where you can straighten them out once you get a correct CPU for the board

so with that I assume theres your issue

supported cpu's for I assume your board ? [notice 4670 is not listed or the correct socket right off the bat ]
