I hawe same motherboard Asus p5b i like to know why Q8200 cpu wont work because on Asus page state that support that Quad core cpu and when i flash the bios turn off set jumper pull battery wait put back together put cpu inside power on but only black screen nothing else?

The MB and CPU are compatible LGA775 pinout.
The black screen could/would be another cause.
Check your cabling and monitor connections and compatibility first.
Have you checked for a Bios update.?
What is you PSU manufacturer, wattage and pier rating.
