Is the LG 34UM68-P 34-Inch 21:9 UltraWide IPS Monitor with FreeSync ok for Flight Simulator X?

I would like to get your opinions before to buy the monitor. Do you recommend a 16:9 or 21:9 ultrawide monitor like this mentionned?

Ultawides are awesome and so is FreeSync.
You may have to resort to some text file editing if the game doesn;t recognise the resolution out of teh box: http://www.wsgf.org/dr/microsoft-flight-simulator-x but it should be all good.

Resolution is 1980 x 1080. Is it ok?

It's 2560 x 1080 because of the extra width.
Whether it's ok is personal. I find that for 34" 1440p is merited and in 1080p you can see the pixels. For 1080p i prefer(and own) a 29": 29UM68-P
Again, this is subjective.
