I have a problem with my computer connecting to the internet.

Whenever I'm playing a game or just surfing the web my internet going to the computer (directly connected though ethernet cord) it seems to be at random, but it will almost completely stop loading anything i'm doing.

For example, I will be playing a game of CS:GO with my ping perfectly normal then all of a sudden my game freezes and my ping jumps up to 500-800 from anywhere to 10 seconds to 5 minutes...

As you can see this can be quite annoying and makes games unplayable, I do not exactly know what you need to help figure this problem out... tell me and I will try to give you the best I can... Thanks in advance!

Solution
Check to see if your router settings as a "WAN port speed" option or something similar. Try setting it to to auto or at a fixed mode, depending on its current configuration. Try disabling QOS.
