Not sure if this has been posted before since it is kinda wierd. Now I 'transplanted' my pc from a prodigy m to a haf x because I could and it boots up and shows the mobo screen, I can go into the bios and it won't turn off, but if I dont go into the bios it turns off after showing the mobo screen for around 8 seconds. i think it's most likely a software issue as everything is plugged in and working.

Solution
You mean the computer turns off after 8 seconds, as in no power, no lights, no fans, no hard drive spinning?

If that is the case you either have a motherboard or a power supply problem.

Sorry 'bout that! changed it to windows 8.1/10 compatibility mode and fast boot and it works fine now! Even beat a 980 in sli on the new 3dmark directx12 by 50 points idk how. Anyway I think the windows compatibility mode thing being off was the problem so It's working fine now, led's and all.
