MSI Z97 GAMING 3 or MSI H97 GAMING 3?

Solution
Hi,

Generally the Z97 board will come with many more features than a H97 board.

One of these major features on the Z97 is the ability too overclock which would require an unlocked CPU.

  • -With Intel 1150 and above Series CPU's if they are unlocked there will generally be a 'K' on the end of the model.

-Another feature of the Z97 boards is many more of them support SLI compared to many H97 boards which only support crossfire.

So in conclusion if you are wanting too overclock and run more than one GPU Z97 is the way too go however if your on a budget you would be better going with a H97.
