New building, can i migrate my OS from my HDD to the new SSD?

Hi, im building a new pc, everything new, besides my HDD and PSU, after the build is done, can i migrate my OS from my HDD to my SSD? Or will i have problems?

You can, but it is not advised. There are a number of settings that SSDs have that HDDs do not.
Again it is possible, and not that difficult, but you're better off waiting for the SSD to do the fresh install.

"New PC" presumably includes a new motherboard?
Your existing OS, no matter what drive it is on, may not boot. Requiring a fresh install with the new hardware.

And it may need a whole new license.

Hello, thank you.

So if i just start the windows with the HDD and then make a fresh install on the SSD will my key work? Or will i have to install the Windows 7 ultimate(Original Key)
