Hi all, i recently updated my system and need to know if my new OC temps are too high? I was running a 5820k at stock speed on an MSI SLI X99A board. Temp was 38c on average. Cooler is a Corsair H100i. I swapped out the board for an MSI gaming pro carbon. I'm using the same cooler but decided to overclock the 5820k to 4.0GHz using MSI's Game Boost on the board. VCore is 1.208v. Now my temps run between 40c and 45c at idle, and i've seen the temp jump as high as 58c when closing windows and such.

This is the first time i've ever overclocked. Do the temps seem high? I haven't had any bsods, and the system seems pretty stable. Should i be worried? I reapplied the Arctic Silver 5 a couple times to see if the temps would change but they've stayed pretty much unchanged. Any help would be great, thanks!

I ran the "Intel Burn Test" and received the following temps:

Standard = 76c
High = 79c
Very High = 81c

From what I've heard, the temps are doable, so unless I notice something out of the ordinary, I've decided to work with what I have. I'm not sure what else I can do to bring the temps down.
