Hey guys, I just bought myself an ASUS N552VW-FI046T and am looking to expand my RAM to 32gb. The specs state RAM is expandable up to 16gb. Now, I've seen an older model , the N552VW-FW026T on a reseller site offering an expansion of up to 32gb, but on it's specs it states expansion of up to 16gb as well.
The specs for the laptop i bought are: i7 6700HQ Processor, Intel HM170 chipset, DDR4 2133 MHz SDRAM, 2 x SO-DIMM socket for expansion up to 16 GB SDRAM.
Would I be able to go over the support RAM capability with/or without a BIOS update or not?
