Overclocking 6600k RAM Question

I have a question about overclocking,
My spec is
i5 6600k
Z170A MSI Krait Gaming 3X
Cryorig H7

My question is what ram should I use so that I can overclock my 6600k easy?
would it be

G.SKILL 8GB NT Series 288-Pin DDR4 PC4-19200 2400MHz or
Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200)

and one other question, will it be okay to buy one 8GB at a time (same model and timing) and would it work as a dual channel or quad channel? or has it to be 2 x 4GB for it to be dual channel.

Best to buy all the DRAM you want/need in a single package. No guarantees when mixing packages of DRAM. As far as OCing the CPU - it's independent of the DRAM, either set of DRAM would be fine, check prices, can often get 2666 or even 2800 for about the same price as 2400
