I'm puzzled. You say you need to connect "six chassis fans". Your case comes with FIVE pre-installed and connected to its own fan controller switch. Those fans have blue LED lights in them, too.

So, when you say "six", are you talking about the five already pre-installed plus one CPU cooler system? Or, do you plan to remove all those pre-installed fans and replace them with six other case fans? Or, something else? Post back here more specifics.

To get a head start on this, I'll mention these points:

1. If you plan to use the existing pre-installed LED fans in the case plus a CPU cooling fan system, you don't have a problem. The CPU fan system can be handled easily by the CPU_FAN header of the mobo, and that's exactly where that...

To get a head start on this, I'll mention these points:

1. If you plan to use the existing pre-installed LED fans in the case plus a CPU cooling fan system, you don't have a problem. The CPU fan system can be handled easily by the CPU_FAN header of the mobo, and that's exactly where that cooler should be connected. The five pre-installed fans already are connected to a "fan controller" unit in the case. Now, that does not give you mobo-based automatic fan speed controls, of course. What it does is allow you manually to select (two-position switch at top front of case) whether your case fans run at High, Low or Off. If that is sufficient for you, you don't need anything else.

2. If instead you want to have all your case ventilation fans controlled by the mobo's automatic systems via its two CHA_FAN headers, that can be done using fan Y-splitters and a bunch of re-wiring by you. You would have to ferret out all the wires for those pre-installed fans, disconnect them from the existing switch system in the case, re-wire them in particular groups with appropriate connectors, and arrange how they are connected to the mobo headers. A header configuration step in BIOS Setup may be needed - small detail. If this is your plan, post back here for more details.
