My internet is being rendered unusable whenever my sister decides to watch youtube/browse instagram photos etc. and I really don't understand why. I get from 30 to 40 mbps download speeds which should be fine. Even when her videos aren't HD they cause issues. For example when she was browsing the internet I had a ping to google of 5 ms, which went up to 1300 ish for the duration of a youtube video she was watching. Also, webpages usually load almost instantly but take 10 - 20 times as long during these times. The most baffling part is that I can stream to twitch while watching my stream and get 20 ping or so, and have no problems at all, but when she uses YouTube I often find myself unable to join teamspeak servers, make google searches or, for that matter, basically anything else.
Is this something that can be fixed and if so how? Thanks in advance.
