Hi, this is my first post here. I am receiving a Graphics Card this afternoon and I would like to know the best practices in order to preserve it's lifespan?
My previous GPU lasted less than 6 months after I put it into my Computer case. I don't know what happened to it, it simply stopped working (no display) - I had to remove it. Anyways - I haven't even thought of getting a new one in the last 6 months as I've been focused on work. But now I got a new GPU as my birthday was yesterday and I am wondering if there is anything that I must avoid doing in order to allow this GPU to last longer than 6 months.
