Hello everyone. I've been building computers on and off for years. I'd rather build my own then get someone else to do it for me. That said, I've run into something that just does not make sense to me.

My new system has the following main components:
Mobo: MSI Z170A Tomahawk AC
Graphics: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GT730
Sound: Creative x-Fi card (ya, it's old, but it still works)
Other things: a USB card into a PCIe 3.0 x 1 slot (card is also old, but still works)
Card Reader: Vantec something
DVD Rom
RAM: 32GB DDR4

On boot the Mobo debug light for VGA display lights red and stays on. The manual indicates this means that "GPU is not detected or fail". However, my display works just fine. The drivers installed correctly, no errors, no issues.

I've looked on many threads to find a person with a similar issue, however, whenever someone mentions that the debug light stays on, their display does not work.

Can anyone help me understand why my display would work but my Mobo would indicate that the GPU is not detected or failed?

Thanks for your help.
