I have built a custom PC with a fresh install of Window's 10, (no previous OS installations before hand) various different parts which are given below. I checked the compatibility online and everything seemed to be compatible. Each and every part was bought brand new.

Custom Build Spec:

Operating System: Windows 10 (with no previous OS installation)
Motherboard: MSI 990FXA Gaming AM3+ 990FX
CPU: AMD FD9590FHHKWOF - FX 8-Core Black Edition FX-9590
GPU: MSI NVIDIA GTX 980 Graphics Card (4GB, 1152MHz, 256 Bit, DDR5, HDMI, PCI-E)
Memory: HyperX FURY Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3 1866 MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit - Black
Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit
SSD: Samsung 2.5 inch 120 GB 850 EVO Solid State Drive
HDD: Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB SATA lll Desktop SATA Drive - Blue
Extra Fan: Cooler Master RR-212E-16PK-R1 Hyper 212 Evo
Tower Case: NZXT Phantom 530 Black Edition Full Tower Chassis without PSU

It's been just over 3 months now since the PC was built and the screen locks up and freezes with random applications at random times since i started using the PC. I have been using YouTube, played games and even once Google Chrome and the PC keeps freezing to a stage where I am unable to use the keyboard or mouse and the screen freezes. This happens randomly and I have tried different solutions suggested online but none of them seem to work.

First and foremost I updated all of the drivers and checked to make sure everything works properly. I have tried a stress test for the memory individually and no errors were given. Changed the "PCI Express" settings within "Link State Power Management" to off. I have checked to see if this is a connection issue to the Screen itself and didn't find this to be the issue either. I have tried stopping and starting the Windows update and haven't altered the Overclock settings either.

Even before and after applying all of these changes the freezing keeps persisting. If there are any other solutions which could fix this issue, it would be much appreciated.

Can you still move your mouse around when it freezes?
Because I have a computer with a SSD which randomly decides to freeze (disk usage skyrockets at 100% for some reason), and I can't do anything except move my mouse.
Try checking your disk usage (maybe faulty HDD/SSD)
Where is the OS installed?

I'm unable to use the mouse or keyboard, the screen just freezes. Also the OS is on my SSD (C Drive)

Would you say the power supply is the main issue for this? The PC itself runs and I am able to use it, but it just freezes randomly.

Power supply or motherboard / CPU overheating from the massive power draw.
Just seen the CPU cooler you have their 100% no chance that CPU cooler can cool that processor you need very high end air or more like a H100 water cooler to have a chance.
As is your PC can Draw about 480 Watts and you have a low quality 552 Watt (12 volt rail) power supply.
Using that processor and video card I would buy nothing less than a 850 Watt GOOD quality power supply and you need air blowing on the motherboard.
AMD really pulled the wool over people when they released that processor it's just a factory overclocked 8350 with a massive power draw.
I would tell you to download and run OCCT to stress the processor but it would shut down almost right away.

Considering the power supply inst sufficient enough for my PC, would getting a 850 Watt fix this issue would you say?

I changed my power supply today to a 850W and notice a difference where the pc doesnt freeze as often. Additionally I ran the programe Prime95 and checked all parts of the CPU and noticed that when stress testing the CPU, it said there was a Hardware issue but didnt specify which part exactly. The one thing I have noticed is when the PC rises in temperature the screen freezes or the application crashes. Would a H110i liquid cooler fan fix this problem?

I guess so.
