Will not boot after BIOS update

I updated my ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING to the latest BIOS version today. I was planning to overclock and a guy in the video I was watching said to make sure my BIOS was up to date.

So I downloaded the latest version, put it onto a USB and updated it. It said it was successful and immediately restarted. It turned on for a few seconds and restarted again. All I get is a black back lit screen and I can't do anything. I've tried restarting it I don't know how many times, but it won't work...

This seems to be similar but the solution here didn't work for me: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2940982/asus-z170-boot-bios-update.html

After I reset CMOS, I'm now getting an american megatrends screen which says press F1 to enter setup, but nothing happens. I have also tried some other things I read, one was removing my GPU and connecting my monitor to the motherboard, this also didn't work.

Please help me.

I've fixed it! The USB to update the BIOS needed to be in the motherboard and not the case. Apparently it worked to start the update but it still needed to use the file on the USB after the restart, but it wasn't able to read it as it was in the case USB slot.

I don't have a DVD drive so I can't try the disc. One thing I was reading somewhere was using a USB with the old version of BIOS on it and using that to somehow fix it but I don't know how.
