What I know so far about what is in the computer is it has an ASUS M4N68T-M V2 Motherboard, AMD Radeon HD 5450 Graphics Card, and AMD Athlon II X2 220 CPU. It also contains two 2GB RAM and a 500 GB Hard Drive. I want to upgrade it without spending too much and be able to play games like The Culling, Day Z, and such. Please help. I can provide more information if asked.

Alright so I'm guessing a 480 Watt PSU, and a Mid-Tower chassis...
The following is what I would upgrade to play DayZ at enjoyable frame rates:

-Motherboard: up to you, it has an AM3 socket not an AM3+ so that limits you quite a bit when it comes to upgradability.
-RAM: Upgrade to at least 8GB. 2GB gets you virtually no where when it comes to running games.
-Hard Drive: because your on a budget, you should be fine, but do a clean whip with the hard drive before using it.
-CPU: The CPU you have is EXTREMELY dated, upgrade to an AMD Phenom II X4 970 and you should be set.
-GPU: You have a five year old...

-CPU: The CPU you have is EXTREMELY dated, upgrade to an AMD Phenom II X4 970 and you should be set.
-GPU: You have a five year old GPU, I would recommend the good 'ol GTX 750 Ti it can handle almost anything you throw at it if your willing to tone down the settings and it doesn't need external six-pin or eight-pin power connectors.

So how much will this all cost?
-RAM: CORSAIR XMS3 8GB ($39.99)

-CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 970 (~$85.99)

-GPU: GeForce GTX 750 Ti ($94.99)

TOTAL: $220.97 + Tax
*If that's too expensive you can buy a less expensive CPU and/or a less expensive GPU. Just keep in mind if you buy a very old CPU it may bottleneck the GPU and vice-versa.

Hope this all helped! :)
