I am thinking of upgrading my CPU to an i7-3770, or an i7-3770S as that is the best one that my motherboard will support. I can't afford a new one, but I saw a refurbished i7-3770 for $299 on CPUmedics and an i7-3770S for $232 on Memory4less. Both are OEM (no cooler). Are refurbished CPU's any good and would my stock fan that I have now with my i3-3220 work with that?
Which of the two is the better one? Also when looking at the Specs for these, what is conflict free?
My computer is a full tower with 5x120mm case fans.
