So i'm trying to hook up my pc to my tv and i've run into a problem. When i connect the vga cable from my pc to my tv the tv will only display 1366x768. So i was wondering if I could get a hdmi to vga adapter and hook that up into my tv instead of connecting the vga straight to my tv, would that give me a 1920x1080 resolution that i'm looking for, or would this not work?

A HDMI cable is allways better than a VGA cable. with that you shouldn't have any problems. What's the model of your graphic card? Does it only have a VGA output?

And doesn't it have a DVI port? you could then use a DVI to HDMI adpater. That's what I have to connect to my TV and works perfect. Full HD.
