Which one is better? The GTX 1060 Founder's Edition or the MSI Gaming (Non X) Version. I backordered the MSI and I ordered the FE. Which one should I return? Thanks in advance!

The MSI gaming by a landslide. Better cooler, more OC headroom, nice features from MSI. The Founders Edition is just a fancy name for the reference cooler. The only thing the reference cooler is ever good for is SLI which the 1060 does not even support. After market coolers (MSI Gaming , EVGA ACX , Gigabyte Windforce, Asus Strix, etc.) are generally better than reference cooler.

I'd like to correct you on that.
OC headroom is not very important with Pascal cards due to GPU boost 3.0 doing most of the work, making it less efficient than before, along with the added fact that the 1060 is not that powerful of a card to begin with, further decreasing the effectiveness of OC yields.
The MSI Gaming edition of the card will be better however, cooler temps for sure.
That's about all there is to it! :)

The only difference with the x denominations of the MSI graphics cards is that they have a factory overclock applied to them, so yes, 100Mhz is the only difference in this case. You will see a minor difference with this clock speed, so it is probably worth the extra 10 bucks if you don't overclock. ;)

The 6GB versions that have been reviewed have NO SLI heads on the card, thus have no SLI support. and from some of the benchmarks ive seen of the 1060, a OC could be the difference between below and above GTX 980 performance.

The 1060 does not support SLI upon further investigation.
Although it does use PCIE communication much like AMD's crossfire in this case to support the second card as PhysX and sound, although SLI is not a thing.
Initially I was under the impression through several statements that it was only the 3GB edition that did not have SLI support. I now see I was wrong in this, i'll edit it out of my post. :)

Umm dude, get your facts straight. I don't know where you learnt these things from but gtx 1060 6 gb DOES NOT support sli. Furthermore the 3gb version (if it even exists) hasn't even released yet so I don't think you have the right to judge what it'll be like. Also, the gtx 1060 is one of the most powerful budget cards on the market, bordering the 980 in performance so unless you compare it to the most high end cards like 1070 and 1080, it's a pretty powerful card. Please get your facts straight and stop misleading others.

No need to be rude. Please read the comment I made after, before you posted this message.

I simply misunderstood the facts amongst marketing and various news sites (Damn you WCCFTech!).
