I read the forums but to no avail did they solve my problem. I have a Dell Optiplex 745 ; want to upgrade to A Graphics Card to play Rune Scape. I have 4 GB or ram that I will upgrade to 8GB later. Has a Intel Pentium D 3.4GHZ Dual Core CPU: Windows 7 64Bit ; Graphics Hardware : Intel Q963Express Cl ; Socket 775 LGA ; DDR2 Ram ; Mini tower - 305 Watt psu non-low profile card. (M.B. # CN-OHR330-13740-736-02TN) ~ I am looking to spend up to $80.00 - $90.00 if possible. Thank you so much for your help, I will sighn back on later today since its past 1:00 A.M. here. I am running internet explorer since google chrome and google do not accept RuneScape, I do not know what componet is malfunctioning since this is the exact same desktop I used 6 months ago... all i know is when i log into RuneScape the enviroment freezes and or blacks out. This is the error message : There was an error loading the game configuration from the website. If you have a ire wall, check that this program is allowed to access the internet (7,6) I am running windows7 64bit.

Solution
That error should not have anything to do with the video card, try clearing the temp files in your browser and try the game again. Make sure you reboot first.

Thank you for your input, just yesterday I Googled the problem on this error and found a post on the RuneScape forum ... had to go into the RUN program and type in 3 different "clear catch, brouser, and something else" coedes and restart the computer. It worked and I can play R.S. Old School now. But as for the lagg and screen freeze I will have to Purchase a video graphics card that Smokietreat13 recommended. Thank you again for your feed back.

The card that you listed is the wrong type of card : via the dual slot that it needs to operate and it was too long, Back to the drawing board..... $114.00 spent now have to get a refund and keep searching.

I did not list any card in this thread since you did not list what case size you have and the error was not from the graphics card. If you pick one, make sure it's for the right case size and the right card type. Even in the same model range there are different versions of the card, some standard, some small form, some larger with better cooling, etc.... Measure the space you have vs the card size listed on the web site and also check the power requirements.
