Hi, I have a 2008 Macbook Pro and I am trying to figure out how to install Windows 10 on it. I just bought a brand new 500gb samsung 850 evo drive, and I was wondering if I plugged it into the mac and plugged in my windows 10 drive that I could just install it and make it work, or will I face driver issues? I do not want to use Bootcamp because I want nothing but windows on the computer. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks for all the help you guys can give me.

I found that earlier but I'm not sure because later he talks about bootcamp drivers or something for Windows which confused me.

I already have the driver disk because I bought Windows 10. I just don't quite understand how this all works, and so I'm not sure whether or not I have to have an OS X partition or if I can have just a windows partition? Sorry I'm fairly new to macs and I only bought it because I got a good deal on it.

If you already have the correct drivers for Mac hardware, then you shouldn't need to use Boot Camp. But, as far as I know, they are not present on a Windows 10 install disk.

Boot Camp is the recommended way to install Windows on a Mac. I can see not reason why you would want to not use it, especially as you say you are unfamiliar with Macs. Go with the flow - don't try to swim upstream.

How do I get my current Mac OS onto the new SSD? Then once I do that and get Windows set up will I be able to change the os x partition size and increase the windows one or is it permanently locked in?
