Hi, there are similar topics, but none that would also explains my problem.
So here we go. I have two external 1TB 3,5 USB 3.0 disks that have their own power supply (one is WD My Book and the other is Hitachi). When i plug them in my (brand new) zenbook pro laptop USB 3.0 slot they work fine, but for some reason when I plug them in a high quality 4 slot 3.0 usb hub that goes in my usb type-C connector, things start acting weird.
Both disk are recognized perfecty and browsing is acting normal, but when I want to copy files from my laptop to one of the drives the transfer stalls after a few seconds.... dropping to 0 bytes/sec.
I need to make both of my disks run smoothly, because they contain sound libraries which I need for my work.
USB hub is not additionally powered, that could be one problem, but then again both disks have their own power supply so I figure that would not solve the problem... is there any other thing that could cause this problems?
