i have 2x 8bg stick, in bios shows 8gb but in windows shows 16gb, can someone help me please

64bit, yeah both working individuallly
3 weeks ago both sticks working and i had 15gb usable ram,,, i dont know what happen, now i have 8gb

You didn't say what MB you have. The chipset might not support the modules you're using. For example it might work with 4x4GB but not 2x8GB becuase the modules are too big. Check your owners manual for approved memory configurations. Do you have the latest BIOS for your computer? Memory support often gets updated there.

Any new hardware or changes? Particularly CPU cooler? Try pulling and reseating the DRAM - if no joy tell us DRAM model #, CPU and mobo and we can try an adjustment or two
