Hi, i'm after some advice (please) as the world of RAM memory is so confusing......

I have a HP Envy 17 (n065na) and am wanting to upgrade the memory to 16GB (currently 12GB). I have found the following and want to be sure if this is compatible?

Also what would be my best upgrade?

Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/RAM/DDR3/Dual+Channel+1600MHz/Corsair+Vengeance+Pro+Red+16GB+%282x8GB%29+DDR3+PC3-12800C9+1600MHz+Dual+Channel+Memory+Kit+%28CMY16GX3M2A1600C9R%29+?productId=55961)

My laptop Specs can be found here: (http://support.hp.com/ie-en/product/HP-ENVY-17-Notebook-PC-series/7771351/model/8429320/document/c04741661/)

But in brief:

Microprocessor:
Intel Core i7-5500U with Intel HD Graphics 5500 (2.4 GHz, 4 MB cache, 2 cores)

Memory:
12 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB, 1 x 4 GB)

Video Graphics:
NVIDIA GeForce 940M (2 GB DDR3L dedicated)

Power:
65 W AC power adapter
4-cell, 41 Wh Li-ion polymer

Solution
shouldn´t, a 1866MHz Ram will run at 1600MHz too.

Be sure it´s a 2x8GB DDR3L (1.35V) SODIMM Kit (smaller than normal Desktop DIMM)
