XFX Radeon RX 480 Core 8GB v Asus GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card

Solution
The RX 480 is the better performer but it's a little unbalanced when compared to everything else, assuming this build is for gaming.

Your current build also doesn't include a CPU cooler, which you'll need as the 6700K doesn't have one.

the GTX 1060 isn't a bad option, and it being only $10 more than the 480 and performs quite a bit better (10+ FPS in most games in 1440p, even more in 1080p). Personally, I'd get the 1060. I don't see any reason to get the 480 anymore.

Also, if you're just gaming, you're not going to see much performance in the i7 6700k. Go for the i5 6600k to save some money. Go for the 1060, it performs better than both the 480 and 960 for essentially the same price as the 480.

Well, the 1060 is apparently not an option -- Australia's PCpartpicker.com doesn't list any prices for it (or for a lot of the other models of 970/980/1070/1080), which probably means they're not in stock or even available yet.

But yeah, for the price of that 960 ($289 AUD), you could pick up the R9 380 as a better option. More ideally, swap out the i7 for an i5 ($306 AUD for the i5-6600, or $332 AUD for the 6600K) & use the extra $150-200 AUD you'd save to pick up a GTX 970 or R9 390/390X (both much, much better than the 960).

If you get the 8gb 480, you can crossfire it later if you step up to 4k without being vram limited. thats the reason i use to justify it to myself anyway :p also, the i5 is a great option, but zen is on its way if you're not in a hurry. i suspect i7 performance for i5 price with zen.
