Hey guys, I was just wondering if the new CPU I ordered (i7-2620M) will let me change the dedicated video RAM for the graphics card? From what I understand, this processor has a graphics driver built in (Intel® HD Graphics 3000). Here are my current computer specs:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i3 2330M @ 2.20GHz
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
Dell Inc. 05TM8C (CPU) 49 °C
Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Dell)
Right now, the graphics driver has a limit of 32mb for its Video Ram. Will this be an issue with my new processor? I need at least 1gb for the games I want to run. Any help will be appreciated!
